Oxygen Treatment may improve language, eye-contact, social interaction, irritability, or hyperactivity.

It is well known that most cancer cells do not like oxygen. Most tumours have blood supplies that leave parts of the tumour starved of oxygen, or "hypoxic", making them resistant to radiotherapy. The vessels are also leaky, stopping chemotherapy drugs penetrating deeply enough to kill the growth. This means that tumours well supplied with oxygen are actually more vulnerable.

Hyperbaric oxygen was first used 60 years ago to increase cellular oxygen delivery and thus overcome hypoxia as a cause of tumour radioresistance. This scientifically proved application of hyperbaric oxygen is now unused.

Case Study

Michael Charter was diagnosed with prostate cancer, aged 53, and his prostate was removed in 1993. Then, 15 years later, Michael began to suffer symptoms.

'My first symptoms were bladder leakage,' he says. Michael's GP referred him to a urologist who said that little could be done. 'It was depressing,' says Michael,. 'From being sociable and outgoing, suddenly I was wetting myself, often in public. It was a terrible blow to my pride and self-esteem.' Deterioration was rapid. Within weeks of the first symptoms, Michael had passed blood in his urine, was suffering from painful bouts of cystitis and had bowel problems.

'I went for 40 treatments over five weeks. Each time, the results were astonishing. My bowel problems disappeared completely within days, and although I still have to use a catheter and wear pads, I'm usually dry for a night”

'HBO has given me hope that I can reverse some of the worst effects. That is a priceless gift.'

Daily Mail Article 14/10/2010

"Cancer, above all other diseases, has countless secondary causes. But, even for cancer, there is only one prime cause. Summarized in a few words, the prime cause of cancer is the replacement of the respiration of oxygen in normal body cells by a fermentation of sugar."
